Hello everyone!! My name is Karen and I love to EAT GOOD FOOD! My goal for this blog is to share ideas for creating delicious nourishing food focusing on sourcing local ingredients.
There are a number of reasons I prefer to buy food that has been grown/raised locally, but these are the top 3:
- Freshy fresh fresh = the best possible TASTE!
- Reducing my carbon footprint
- Supporting local economy

A word about paleo and my journey there. A few years ago, my dear friend Krista Barlow began studying health coaching and nutrition. I was lucky enough to be one of her first guinea pigs as a client for health coaching services. This resulted in breaking me out of my dietary habits and basically engaging in an ongoing experiment with diet to find what makes me feel good. This experimentation phase led me to realize that I feel the best and have the most energy when eating paleo. My transition is ongoing. I eat pizza. Sometimes I eat the bun with my burger. Then I feel like I need a nap.
